No bath in the room!!! The lack of an out-of-hours contact number can create real hassles!!! Heating takes ages to kick in, which may leave you chilly during the night!!!

Peaceful remote location, near to the restaurant, the pub which served good food & nice beer, and Bridgwater and MInehead. Caring, attentive people working here. Breakfast with good coffee.

Charming atmosphere at The Babbling Brook! The food was so nice. The Beef and Ale Pie was a highlight. Staff showed flexibility accommodating our large group on short notice. The conservatory setup is bright. The room was creatively designed in a stable block, providing comfort with tea and coffee-making facilities. The heating was off was great. A cooked breakfast option would elevate the experience, especially in colder months. Good for a special night out, though check-in directions could be clearer.

The location boasts a charming atmosphere with beautifully decorated rooms with a unique sheep-themed design. Breakfast included a generous selection, though the prepacked croissants were somewhat lackluster. A downside was the pub closure on Monday, limiting dining options, and the exit time of 10 am felt a bit rushed. Nonetheless, the comfortable bed and well-thought-out room amenities added a sense of relaxation.

Delicious food and cozy vibes
The food was outta this world-really fresh and tasty. The staff were super friendly. Plus, the conservatory area was perfect for those sunny mornings. Just a bit noisy at times from the pub next door, but still a lovely experience overall!

The rooms offer private access to a lovely garden area. I appreciated the warm hospitality from the friendly staff, who were accommodating with my cleaning schedule. The location is ideal, being close to the scenic North Somerset Railway and just a short distance from the Hinckley power station.
The lack of breakfast options was a bit disappointing .

Just a reliable pick for an overnight stop in Bridgwater with attractive and competitive value for money. The menu was varied with reasonably priced meals, and my chosen course was first rate. Make arrangements for early check-in if you plan to arrive before the pub opens.
